We are pleased to announce that Keyishoes has moved to a new location, just around the corner on Millbrook Road.

Even though we have been located in our new fixed premises for a while now, people are still trying to look out for our old mobile trailer shop. So, here’s a short blog to help you understand exactly where we are and why we moved!

Our New Location

Don’t worry, we haven’t moved far. You can now find us just around the corner at 66a Millbrook Road, Kingstown Industrial Estate, Carlisle, CA3 0EU.

Turn right opposite McDonald’s and beside Greggs, drive past Toolstation, turn right and we are at the end of the road on the left just past Box Clever Storage.

Or if you know where the Kingstown Chef is, we are on the same side at the opposite end.

Why We Moved

After nearly 13 years of serving customers with our trusty mobile trailer shop, the opportunity arose for us to move into a larger fixed premise in a convenient location nearby.

In October 2021, we took the leap and began settling into our new place. All achieved with a lot of hard work and elbow grease, and support from local businesses and friends to get our signage ready, workshop equipped, and premises cleaned.

Our new location gives us much more space to operate and expand our services, particularly our while-u-wait service which has proved so popular with our customers in recent years. Our spacious waiting room now allows customers to sit back and relax with a brew and read a magazine while they wait a short while for our services – from shoe repairs and key cutting to pet tag engraving, programming or repairing a new car key!

Plus… no more parking issues! Now there’s no need to fight for a parking space! We have plenty of our own free dedicated parking, so you can even drop off your car and pick it up later if you don’t want to hang around for your car key – ideal for our trade customers!

What We Can Do

Keyishoes offers a range of services from car keys and shoe repairs to engraving, sharpening and more. With the additional space at our new premises, we are able to expand our services even further.

We are now also partnering with Brisant Security to stock their premium anti-snap, anti-pick lock range with matching door handles and furniture!

These Kite-Marked Euro-Cylinder locks are designed to prevent snapping, bumping, pulling, blow torch and lock picking attacks – and come with a £2000 guarantee if a burglar snaps it or breaks in through it!

Plus, the handles come with a 20-year corrosion guarantee. What’s not to love?

This fantastic new workspace has allowed us to increase our selection of keys and bring our leather stitching and engraving services in-house. So we can now offer our engraving services in-house for an even faster service, so customers never need to wait long if they want a personal engraving on a gift, plaque or pet tag!
